Booking Terms

1. Who you are booking with
Tours are provided by Easy Rider Vietnam Loops, a local tour operator based in Dalat, Vietnam. Your contract for the tour itself is with that operator.
This website is operated by Lawalocals, which takes booking requests and collects the 20% deposit on the operator’s behalf. Lawalocals acts as an intermediary and does not itself provide the tour.

2. A booking request is not yet a confirmed tour
Submitting the form and paying the deposit sends a booking request. Your tour is confirmed only once the operator accepts it. They aim to reply on WhatsApp within 24 hours of your request.
3. Price, deposit and balance
Prices are shown per person. The euro figures alongside are indicative; the amount charged is the one shown at checkout.
The 20% deposit is part of the tour price and not an additional fee. The remaining 80% is paid in cash, in Vietnamese dong, directly to your guide when you meet at the start of the tour.
4. What the price includes
Each tour page lists what is included — typically your guide, the motorbike and fuel, accommodation on multi-day tours, motorbike insurance, hotel pick-up and drop-off, and sightseeing tickets. Food is not included unless a tour page says otherwise.
5. Riding as a passenger or self-driving
You may ride as a passenger behind your guide, for which no licence is needed, or drive yourself at the same price. If you self-drive you must hold a valid motorcycle licence together with the permit required to ride legally in Vietnam, and you are responsible for holding it. If you do not, you can ride as a passenger instead.
6. Insurance
Motorbike insurance is included as described on each tour page. It does not replace personal travel and medical insurance, which remains your own responsibility and which we strongly recommend you arrange before travelling.
7. What we ask of you
Please give contact details you can be reached on, tell the operator about anything that affects your ability to ride or travel, and follow your guide’s safety instructions during the tour. Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.
8. Changes, cancellation and refunds
If the operator cannot accept your request, your deposit is refunded in full within 72 hours. Once a booking is confirmed the deposit is non-refundable. Full details are in our cancellation policy.
9. Weather, safety and changes to the route
Routes may be adapted or shortened where weather, road conditions or safety require it. Your guide makes that call and will discuss the alternatives with you.
10. Statutory right of withdrawal
Tours are leisure services provided on a specific date. Under Dutch and EU consumer law such contracts are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to most online purchases (Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, implementing Article 16(l) of the Consumer Rights Directive). The cancellation terms above apply instead.
11. If something goes wrong
Raise anything about the tour with your guide at the time, so it can be put right on the spot, and with the operator on WhatsApp afterwards if it is not resolved. For anything to do with a payment or this website, contact Lawalocals.
12. Responsibility
The operator is responsible for delivering the tour. Lawalocals is responsible for this website and for handling the deposit correctly. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
13. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to the booking and payment services provided by Lawalocals. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer rules that apply where you live.
