If the operator cannot accept your booking

Your 20% deposit is refunded in full within 72 hours, to the card you paid with. Nothing further is owed.

If you cancel before the operator has confirmed

Your request has not become a booking yet, so the deposit is refunded in full. Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you know.

If you cancel a confirmed booking

The 20% deposit is non-refundable once the operator has confirmed your tour. Confirming means holding a guide and a motorbike for your dates and, on multi-day tours, reserving rooms at the guesthouses along the route — commitments the operator makes on your behalf as soon as they accept.

The remaining 80% is only ever paid in person at the start of the tour, so if you cancel there is nothing else to pay and nothing else to reclaim.

If you do not turn up

A no-show is treated as a cancellation of a confirmed booking, and the same terms apply.

Changing your dates

Changing is usually easier than cancelling. Contact the operator on WhatsApp as early as you can: where they can move you to another date, this is treated as a change rather than a cancellation and your deposit moves with the booking. Changes depend on guide and guesthouse availability.

If the operator has to cancel

Occasionally a tour cannot run — illness, a mechanical problem, or conditions that make riding unsafe. The operator will offer you an alternative date or another guide, and if neither works for you your deposit is refunded in full.

Weather and safety during a tour

Tours run in most conditions with the rain gear provided, and your guide adapts the route where needed. If part of a tour genuinely cannot go ahead for safety reasons, your guide will agree the alternatives with you at the time.

The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply

Because a tour is a leisure service booked for a specific date, it falls outside the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. The terms on this page apply instead.
